Automatically enriches new HubSpot contacts with detailed personal and company information from ExactBuyer, creating comprehensive lead profiles for sales and marketing.

🧠 Description & Use Case

This workflow automates the process of enriching new contacts in HubSpot with detailed personal and company data from ExactBuyer. When a new contact is created in HubSpot, this workflow triggers, fetches additional information about that contact, and updates their profile, ensuring your CRM data is always comprehensive and up-to-date.

🔄 How It Works:

  1. Trigger on New Contact: The workflow starts when a new contact is created in HubSpot, captured by the On contact created trigger node.
  2. Fetch Contact Details: The Get HubSpot contact node retrieves the full details of the newly created contact using its ID.
  3. Prepare Data: A Set node extracts the contact's ID and email address, preparing it for the enrichment step.
  4. Validate Email: An If node checks if an email address exists for the contact. The workflow only proceeds if an email is present.
  5. Enrich with ExactBuyer: If an email exists, the Enrich user from ExactBuyer node sends the email to the ExactBuyer API. This service searches for and returns a wealth of information, such as job title, company details, location, and social profiles.
  6. Update HubSpot Profile: If ExactBuyer finds matching data, the Update contact from Hubspot node takes the enriched information (like first name, last name, job title, company name, phone number) and updates the corresponding fields on the original contact's profile in HubSpot.
  7. Handle No-Match Scenarios: If ExactBuyer cannot find any data for the provided email, the workflow gracefully ends for that contact without causing an error.
