Automatically generates videos from text prompts via the Luma AI Dream Machine API and logs the results to an Airtable base.

🧠 Description & Use Case

This workflow automates the process of generating videos from text prompts using the Luma AI Dream Machine API. It dynamically adds camera movements to each request and logs the generation details into an Airtable base, creating a seamless pipeline from idea to organized output.

🔄 How It Works:

  1. Trigger & Configure

    • The workflow is initiated manually via the When clicking ‘Test workflow’ node.
    • The Global SETTINGS node allows you to easily configure key parameters for your video, such as the video_prompt, aspect_ratio, duration, and the specific Airtable base/table for logging.

  2. Add Dynamic Camera Motion

    • The RANDOM Camera Motion node runs a snippet of code to randomly select a camera action (e.g., "Pan Left", "Zoom In", "Orbit Right") from a predefined list. This adds variety and a professional touch to your videos without manual input.

  3. Generate the Video

    • The Text 2 Video node sends an HttpRequest to the Luma AI Dream Machine API. It combines the video_prompt with the randomly selected camera motion and other settings to initiate the video generation process.

  4. Log to Airtable

    • Once Luma AI confirms the request, the ADD Video Info node creates a new record in your specified Airtable base. It logs important details like the Generation ID, prompt used, aspect ratio, and model, providing an organized history of all your generated content.
